What is the Story Trail?

From September to November 2026, discover a spectacular trail of more than 30 giant BookBenches across the city. Each bench has been transformed into an open book, beautifully designed by a talented local artist and ready to be explored.

The adventure continues with a charming collection of smaller BookBenches, creatively decorated by local schools and community groups. Each one tells its own unique story, celebrating imagination, creativity and the people who make our city so special.

Amaze is a Sussex-based charity that provides information, advice and support to families of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. In autumn 2026, the streets, parks and open spaces of Brighton & Hove will be transformed into a storybook.  For more details on Amaze click here
